HOW ACETABURG I.V INFUSION WORKS

Acetaburg I.V Infusion relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes involved in the synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain. It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Acetaburg I.V Infusion will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the vein as an intravenous infusion. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you based on your age, body weight and disease condition.

INTRODUCTION

Acetaburg I.V Infusion contains Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Analgesics and Antipyretics. It is used for short-term management of moderate pain and fever when administered by the intravenous route is clinically justified. Before receiving Acetaburg I.V Infusion, inform your doctor if you have heart, lung, liver or kidney problems or if you suffer from alcoholism or alcohol abuse, malnourishment and severely low blood volume due to dehydration or blood loss.

Acetaburg I.V Infusion should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if clearly advised by the doctor. Acetaburg I.V Infusion should be used with caution in children and elderly patients. The most common side effects of receiving Acetaburg I.V Infusion are nausea, vomiting, headache, sleep problems and itching. Inform your doctor if any of these side effect worsens.

BENEFITS OF ACETABURG INFUSION

Acetaburg I.V Infusion is a common painkiller used to treat aches and pains. It works by blocking chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. It is effective in relieving pain caused by headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis, and muscle aches. This medicine is very widely used and very rarely causes side effects if taken at the right dosage. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. It is also the first choice of painkiller during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

In Treatment of Fever : Acetaburg I.V Infusion is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.
